Use and Operation
With the help of Senvir prepaid electricity sales management system which is matched with the
energy meter, it can realize the electricity sales and consumption management function of one meter
and one card through the logic encryption IC card.
1. Insertion method
Insert the IC card corresponding to the power meter into the card slot of the power meter, and
pay attention to ensure the correct direction of inserting the card. Pull out the IC card only when the
meter shows correct operation.
2. Power Purchase
The user purchases electricity from the power sales management department through IC card,
insert the IC card of successful power purchase into the power meter, then the purchased electricity
will be recorded into the power meter.
If the sum of the power purchased by the user and the original remaining power in the meter is
greater than the value of the hoarded power in the meter, the power meter will reject the purchased
power in the IC card.
If the failure of the external circuit breaker leads to a negative value of the remaining power in the
meter (i.e. over-zero power), the meter will automatically offset the over-zero power when it records
the purchased power.
3. Active Energy Measurement
When the user consumes electricity, the power meter accumulates and measures the total power
consumption of the user and decreases the remaining power consumption of the user.
4. Alarm and pre-trip
The meter has two levels of power alarm control function.
The alarm quantity is the first reminder to ask the user to purchase electricity. When the
remaining power in the meter is < alarm power, the red alarm lamp on the meter lights up to remind
the user that the remaining power is insufficient and power purchase is required.
The pre-trip power level is the last reminder to ask the user to purchase power. When the
remaining power in the meter < pre-trip power, the yellow trip light is on and the meter trips. The
user inserts the card and manually closes the gate to restore power until the remaining power is 0.
When the remaining power < pre-trip power, the user should purchase power as soon as possible.
5. Tripping and power-off control
When the user's remaining power is 0kWh, the energy meter automatically pulls the gate to cut
off the power, and displays the remaining power 0000.00kWh, and the power can be restored only
after the user purchases power.
